The Treatment
BIAB with Russian Manicure pairs the structural benefits of Builder in a Bottle with the precision of the Russian manicure technique, resulting in a finish that looks cleaner, lasts longer, and causes less lifting than a standard BIAB appointment.
Builder in a Bottle (BIAB), by The Gel Bottle Inc, is a form of gel that can be painted on like a nail polish, but a much stronger version. Unlike standard gel polish, it adds genuine structure and thickness directly onto the natural nail, protecting it as it grows without the bulk of traditional acrylic or hard gel extensions.
It is flexible, durable, and available in a wide range of colours. BIAB is the ideal choice for clients who struggle with brittle, breaking, or fragile nails, and want to grow and protect their natural nails while still wearing a polished, finished look at all times. Subsequently, nails kept breaking and a very short gel nail can sometimes look chunky. BIAB solves this by building strength directly on the natural nail.
Results typically last three to four weeks before an infill is needed. Because the product builds on the natural nail rather than extending it, removal is more straightforward than hard gel or acrylic extensions.

A Russian manicure incorporates an electronic file (like those used for acrylics) to remove excess skin surrounding the nail bed instead of traditional water soaking techniques, cuticle nippers, and cuticle pushers.
While you might typically reserve 45 minutes at Victoria's Beauty & Nails for a traditional manicure, the Russian manicure requires a minimum of an hour and a half to ensure that each step is performed safely and meticulously.
